ITSWHY’s journey as an artist began in 2007 in Morocco. As a self-taught individual, he endeavored to master the style of popping, his specialty. He developed a unique style with high recognizability—a crucial characteristic in the world of art. With over 12 years of professional experience and a broad spectrum of urban dance and music knowledge, this richness and complexity are part of his identity.

Today, the Berlin-based artist is involved in numerous stage performances as a DJ, producer, and dancer. His work includes festivals, club performances, theater pieces, dance events, musicals, film scores, music recordings, charity events, and social work projects.

Over the past decade, he has traveled to share his knowledge and art on an international level. Being involved in many hip-hop, contemporary, and cultural projects, cities such as New York, Detroit, Chicago, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Prague, Casablanca, Frankfurt, and Leipzig have been some of the places where he could visit, share with others, and learn more about the culture and himself.
